About Me

Born and raised in Chicago, Francesca is now a sophomore attending Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in Southern California. She is pursuing her degree in Documentary Film & Broadcast Journalism, while also receiving a BA in French and Interdisciplinary Studies  minor within Chapman’s Honors Program. 

 

Francesca’s passion for storytelling began at a young age, but finding a way to combine her interest in film, as well as law, politics, and social justice is what led her to pursue a career in documentary film. 

 

Francesca has experience working as an intern for the Film & TV Office for the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in Los Angeles, which has strengthened her passion for both French and international film. Francesca aspires to produce documentaries that shed light on issues she is passionate about, while also exploring new ideas and communities to tell authentic stories. 

 

In her free time, Francesca enjoys reading, writing, embroidery, Broadway shows, playing soccer, and going to Cubs baseball games!
